A breeding ground for the next-generation ironmen and ironwomen, the Medibank Wave Warriors is once again opening the doors for the young athletic champions who are all geared up and ready for another challenging and exciting sporting action.
Featuring a great variety of sporting challenges and exciting physical activities, the Medibank Wave Warriors is a Junior Surf Lifesaving event for ages U9 to U15, and U11 to U15 in Western Australia. This event was developed by the Ironman himself and Surf Life Saving champion Zane Holmes in 2011 to encourage young kids to engage in athletics and have an enjoyable experience.
The Medibank Wave Warriors will have great lineup of events and programmes, making it the coolest beach and surf spectacle in Australia. This sporting extravaganza also provides young athletes the chance to join a sporting competition at a national level. Held in different cities in towns across the country, the Medibank Wave Warriors will also take place on the Gold Coast on 6 and 7 December with a two-day sporting action on the Greenmount Beach.
