This July, just in time for the school holidays, Burleigh Heads will be hosting Groove and Food Festival, a massive fun day of great music and delicious food with something for all ages to enjoy.

The brand new event is completely free to attend and features a packed lineup of interactive workshops, bands, art and delicious cuisine at cafes, restaurants and parks close to Paradise Grove Burleigh Heads family accommodation. The live music bill includes Gold Coast singer-songwriter Tari Peterson, blues duo Soul Sisters and indie rock band The Vernons, who will all be taking to an outdoor stage in Burleigh memorial park. Burleigh Arts Group will be holding a special outdoor exhibition in the park, and kids can join in the fun with sand art, face painting and circus skills workshops.

Many of Burleigh’s most popular cafes and restaurants will be getting involved with great discounts, including Quest Coffee Roasters, The Fish Hut, Govinda's, Cafe Ja Ja and many more.

Groove and Food festival will take place on Sunday 8th July 2012 from 11am – 5pm at Burleigh Heads Memorial Park.

Come and enjoy this completely free family event!
